Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Estimating, project control, scheduling, quantity tracking.
* Support a team consisting of Project Manager, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and other staff.
* Build relationships and communicate with owners, design partners, subcontractors, & workforce.
* Review shop drawing, submittals and schedules, and process RFIs
* Monitoring the quality control, safety and environmental programs.
* Understand and assist with project layout.
* Identify critical work items, and procure long-lead items.
* Assist with monthly billings, cash flow projections, and process change orders.
* Manage document control including submittals schedules, contract documents, shop drawings, etc.
* Assist with delivery, inventory, and warehousing of materials and equipment.
* Resolve field problems and conflicts with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce.
* Maintaining as-built drawings & manuals.
* Attend and/or lead meetings.
* Other duties as assigned

Experience, Education & Skills

* 3 or more years of estimating or project management experience in the heavy industrial construction industry.
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent work experience.
* Be able to work in a team environment and be self-motivated.
* Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivations skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills to interface with owner representatives, engineering firms, subcontractors, other team members and senior management.
* Proficiency in use of computer software applications including, MS Office, HCSS or similar estimating programs, Agtek or similar earthwork programs, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Knowledgeable in Primavera.
* Strong communication skills both written and oral.
* Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize.
* Time Management, multitasking, and prioritization.
* Must have a valid Driver's License.

Working Conditions

* Construction Site Environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Exposed to high noise levels.
* Office Environment - extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching required; ability to lift 5-20 pounds occasionally.

* Expected salary range of $70,000-$110,000
