Job summary

GENCO Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical expertise in project development, design, and construction support for federal programs, including the Air National Guard. You will oversee construction project execution and perform technical reviews to ensure code compliance and constructability.

Responsibilities include site inspections, managing project spreadsheets for federal projects, and preparing bid documents for SRM projects, with strong AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum of two years of post‑graduation experience in facilities design, facilities engineering, or construction project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office; knowledge of DoD UFC is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background investigation to obtain a CAC.

• ** Engineering Procurement & Design Support:** Prepare construction bid documents for Sustainment, Repair, and Maintenance (SRM) projects, coordinate pre-bid site visits, and record meeting minutes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ** Education: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or Architecture** from an ABET-accredited institution.
• ** Experience:** Minimum of two (2) years of post‑graduation professional experience in facilities design, facilities engineering, or construction project management.
• ** Licensure:** Current Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license is highly preferred.
• ** Technical Skills:** Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office (Word/Excel); knowledge of DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) is a plus.
• ** Security:** Must be able to pass a ** Tier 1 background investigation to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)**
