Piston Automotive in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an Engineering Change Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of ECNs/ECOs/ECRs from initiation to implementation.
You will collaborate across Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Quality to update BOMs, track changes, minimize obsolescence, and ensure accurate ERP/PLM documentation. Experience with SAP/Oracle, PLM, and PDM is required.
The Engineering Change Specialist manages the lifecycle of product modifications, including Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Orders (ECOs) or Requests (ECRs), from initiation to implementation. They bridge engineering, production, supply chain, and quality departments to ensure seamless design updates, minimize inventory obsolescence, and maintain accurate Bill of Materials in ERP/PLM systems.
