Job summary

  • Adhere to project controls procedures, including monthly cost control, pay requests, and cost reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the change management process effectively under the direction of the Project Manager.

  • Review and evaluate shop drawings accurately.

  • Review customer feedback proactively, build a customer‑centric mentality within teams, and demonstrate knowledge of different market sectors and delivery systems to ensure positive customer relations.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor, construction management, or general contractor organization.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Proven capability to set specific measurable performance goals and hold others accountable for achieving them.
  • Demonstrated ability to build active team participation, trust, and positive interactions.
  • Ability to articulate financial knowledge and customer satisfaction awareness of how the company makes a profit.
  • Adapt personal communication style to suit the target audience and situation, including highly effective presentations and concise writing on complex topics.
  • Financial management familiarity.
  • OSHA 30‑hour certification.
  • MEP knowledge.
  • Understanding of contract documents and specifications.
  • Proficient in Procore.
  • Expertise in CMiC preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary will be determined based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience, and internal equity. For Arlington, VA this ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
