Job Description Project Engineer Anderson, SC, United States Reports To: Electrical Engineering Manager Direct Reports: None Position Summary Vertiv is seeking a Project Engineer to support high-impact data center projects with a focus on low-voltage (LV) power distribution systems, including UL 891 switchboards and UL 1558 switchgear. This role operates in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment where accuracy, coordination, and execution are critical to delivering mission-critical infrastructure. This position requires a self-directed, technically capable engineer who can manage complex engineered-to-order (ETO) projects while driving alignment across engineering, operations, and customer teams.
About the Role The Project Engineer is responsible for leading projects from engineering handoff through manufacturing and delivery, ensuring all technical requirements are clearly defined, aligned, and executed across cross‑functional teams. This role manages scope, schedule, technical coordination, and risk, while serving as the primary point of contact for technical communication between internal teams and customers.
