Responsibilities & Requirements
Functional Requirements
  • Expertise in managing formal vendor management processes, including outsourced Managed Services Providers (MSPs).
  • Understanding of application development and maintenance (ADM) support environments, healthcare experience a plus.
  • Ability to enhance the Strategic Supplier Management program with experience and best practices.
  • Expertise in managing strategic relationships with external supplier leadership and internal senior leadership.
Performance Requirements
  • Understanding complex contractual arrangements with multiple service level requirements.
  • Extensive experience in vendor management categories: Relationship, Performance, Financial, Contract, and Risk Management.
  • Contracting experience, including drafting and modifying agreements.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in outsourcing services and managing delivery in such relationships.
  • Strong project management skills for multiple initiatives.
  • Experience maintaining issue logs and tracking remediation items.
  • Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, geographically dispersed environment with minimal supervision.
  • Facilitation skills for collaboration among multiple parties.
  • Ability to ensure adherence to contract requirements and monitor deliverables.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma with 5 years of applicable experience, including 2 in leadership/management, OR
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable experience, including 2 in leadership/management.
