Rate of Pay:

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $175,700 - $237,700 per year. This role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Siemens offers various health and wellness benefits. The position is also eligible for time off according to company policies, including paid sick leave, parental leave, PTO (non-exempt), or flexible vacation (exempt).

Duties:
  1. Oversee technical support and spares supply agreement for over 500 railway vehicles.
  2. Supervise maintenance through the execution phase.
  3. Manage profits and losses, and fulfill all maintenance contract requirements.
  4. Manage customer relations and lead discussions on scope, cost, and schedule changes.
  5. Identify potential problems and develop contingency plans.
  6. Drive schedule for service mobilization, milestones, material delivery, and acceptance.
  7. Prepare and deliver project reports, customer progress reports, change proposals, and presentations.
  8. Track and optimize project metrics such as reliability, safety, and availability.
  9. Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and partners.
  10. Define project requirements and strategies to meet goals.
  11. Ensure legal and contractual compliance in maintenance activities.
  12. Collaborate during commissioning and warranty phases, including readiness checks and infrastructure reviews.
Requirements:

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with 72 months of experience in project management or similar roles. Experience should include:

  • Managing cross-organizational projects with responsibility for results, quality, schedule, and EHS.
  • Developing project strategies and aligning targets.
  • Performing maintenance management, including team management, administration, controlling, logistics, and planning.
  • Overseeing project finances, including adherence to financial targets and risk assessments.

50% domestic travel required; 100% telecommuting permitted. This is a remote role.
