Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Piping Design Coordinator to join our Port Arthur team.

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Houston, TX

Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required.

Essential Functions:

• Constructability, operability, and maintainability of the project design.
• Carry out site surveys, gathering information per job scope with or without client, walking down P&ID's and recognizing tie points, field routing piping.
• Working with Lead Engineers/PM's and Multi Disciplines to complete project deliverables.
• Development of design configurations associated with the various systems that apply.
• Providing comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design.
• Preparation of detailed design drawings, in accordance with engineering design, required as project deliverables.
• Maintaining a Job Data Book which contains all the pertinent information used during project design.
• Review of drawings for completeness, overall quality, and adherence to standards.
• Able to perform full checks on other designers and drafters work before being sent out to the client.
• Able to mentor staff.
• Prepares and/or directs the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal relative to all project deliverables.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 20+ years working experience.

• Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate.
