Project Development Coordinator for Brooklyn

Major Responsibilities
  1. Perform supervisory and administrative work for Brooklyn Operations under direction, with independence for initiative and judgment.
  2. Collaborate closely with the Chief and Deputy Chief of Administrative Services.
  3. Conduct and analyze recruitment activities.
  4. Schedule interviews, coordinate, and distribute interview materials.
  5. Assist with oversight of annual probationary and seasonal evaluations.
  6. Manage special projects and assignments.
  7. Support training initiatives, maintain records, and compile reports.
  8. Serve as liaison to Central Human Resources, Payroll, Timekeeping, Legal, Purchasing, and Accounting.
  9. Provide general support services such as filing, answering phones, and responding to inquiries.
  10. Oversee records management for the borough, liaising with Legal on law claims and other matters.

Salary Range: $60,889.00 – $94,521.00

Minimum Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of community work or related activities; or
  • High school diploma or equivalent and six years of related community work; or
  • Equivalent education and experience, with at least one year of experience as described above.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, supervisory, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and statistical experience.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Management and Purchasing.
  • Ability to maintain databases and generate reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid New York State driver’s license.

Additional Info: Eligible for federal loan forgiveness programs; NYC residency required within 90 days for most applicants.
