You will work with project managers and contractors, prepare cut-lists, maintain timelines, and communicate clearly. Competitive pay at $21/hour with benefits, and a standard 8-hour day, Monday to Friday, on-site only.

Qualificações

Steel and Metal Systems, Inc. is a growing business in Blackshear, GA. We are a professional and agile company. Our company designs, sells, manufactures, and constructs metal buildings and roll-up doors for the self-storage industry. We are seeking a Project Detailer.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Building Project Detailer to join our Project Development team in Blackshear, GA. This position is responsible for detailing metal building construction projects from start to completion. The role involves reviewing blueprints and architectural drawings, performing detailed cut-lists and take-offs, maintaining project schedules, and effectively communicating with all parties involved. This is an on-site position based at our Blackshear office and is not remote or online.

Key Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and architectural drawings to prepare detailed project plans.
• Perform accurate cut-lists and material take-offs from blueprints.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of detailing tasks.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Follow up aggressively on all aspects of the project to ensure smooth progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic construction knowledge with the ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong math and computer skills, including proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience performing construction take-offs or cut-lists from blueprints is highly desired.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of the construction industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Architectural drafting experience.
• Experience with metal building projects.
