Steel & Metal Systems, Inc. in Blackshear, GA, is seeking a detail-oriented Metal Building Project Detailer to join our Project Development team. This on-site role involves detailing metal building construction from blueprint review to final take-offs and schedules.

You will work with project managers and contractors, prepare cut-lists, maintain timelines, and communicate clearly. Competitive pay at $21/hour with benefits, and a standard 8-hour day, Monday to Friday, on-site only.

Qualifications

• Blueprints reading and interpretation required.
• Strong math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience performing construction take-offs or cut-lists from blueprints is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and drawings to prepare detailed project plans.
• Create accurate cut-lists and material take-offs from blueprints.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure timely detailing tasks.
• Communicate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Follow up on all project aspects to keep progress on track.
