DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring a Project Detailer in Albuquerque, NM. This entry-level position is ideal for a mechanically inclined individual eager to learn blueprint detailing and door hardware selection.

You will work with a team to review drawings, prepare schedules, and support project managers while pursuing DHIA certification within six months. Strong attention to detail and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an office or administrative environment.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

What You'll Do

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine door, frame, and hardware requirements
• Prepare accurate door and hardware schedules (submittals) for customer and architect approval using industry-specific software
• Assist with entry-level detailing projects under the guidance of experienced Detailers and management
• Interpret project plans, specifications, and contract requirements to ensure accurate product selection
• Review and incorporate approved change orders while communicating project impacts as needed
• Provide technical support to project managers, sales, purchasing, and operations teams
• Develop proficiency with detailing software and DH Pace processes while supporting the overall project team
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete projects within established timelines

What You Bring

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an office, business, or administrative environment
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings or willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of commercial doors, frames, and hardware is preferred but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Ability to earn Door and Hardware Industry Associate (DHIA) certification within six months of hire
