Job description

Create and develop planning and design concepts or support lead designers.

  1. Prepare, coordinate, and complete construction document packages.
  2. Mentor, oversee, and monitor the design work of others to ensure integrated and cohesive designs.
  3. Present design solutions to client representatives and/or design review committees.
  4. Supervise the development of renderings and presentation drawings for client presentations and internal meetings.
  5. Develop trusted relationships with clients.
  6. Participate in recruitment and coaching processes as requested.
An ideal candidate has :
  1. A bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
  2. Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
  3. LEED AP preferred. Must be eligible to take the Architectural Registration Examination.
  4. Working knowledge of engineering systems; ability to engage with professionals in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  5. Knowledge of codes and experience with permitting and approvals from AHJ, HCAI, HCAI-2, and Skilled Nursing Facilities.
  6. Demonstrated ability to communicate with clients and build relationships and trust.
  7. Strong mentoring, communication, and organizational skills.
  8. High proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  9. Experience leading design teams and other designers.
  10. Experience or knowledge in the Senior Living Sector preferred.
