Qualifications

  • 7–12 years of architectural experience, with a focus on life sciences and laboratory planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Proven experience leading laboratory, biotech, pharmaceutical, or related technical projects.
  • Strong expertise in lab programming, space planning, and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Proficiency in Revit; Rhino and parametric modeling tools are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Lead life sciences and laboratory projects through programming, planning, design, documentation, and construction administration.
  • Facilitate user group meetings and develop laboratory programs, space plans, adjacencies, and equipment layouts.
  • Coordinate closely with engineers, consultants, and vendors to deliver integrated design solutions for technical environments.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, providing direction, quality control, and professional development support.
  • Support client relationships, presentations, project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and overall project delivery strategies.
