Job summary

Parpacific is hiring a Project Designer/Piping Designer in Kapolei, Hawaii. This role offers the opportunity to contribute piping design expertise to critical infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for drawing construction isometrics using CADWorx and managing various project responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years experience in piping design and a strong foundation in mechanical, structural, or civil engineering. A comprehensive benefits package is included for full-time employees.

Overview

• Project Designer/Piping Designer at a Growth-Oriented Energy Company

• Delivers operational excellence by planning, organizing and owning work assignments from start to finish
• Reports to the Project Engineer Superintendent

Key Activities

• Drawing piping isometrics issued for construction using CADWorx.
• Job walks, field measurements.
• Compiling bills of materials.
• Drawing structural steel and concrete foundation designs using AutoCAD.
• Climbing ladders, going up into pipe racks, and wearing fall protection.
• This position requires organization and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and production requirements.

• Performs other duties as required and needed

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

• High School diploma or GED, required.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, structural or civil engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of piping design experience in Oil & Gas or manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office suite programs including Word, Excel, and Access required.
• Proficient in Auto CAD, minimum of 3 years of experience required.
• Minimum 2 years CADWorx experience preferred.

Location

The office where you'll work is in Kapolei (Campbell Industrial Park), on the southwest side of O’ahu, Kapolei, known as the “second city.” It is within a few miles of beautiful beaches, camp sites, and adventure parks.

Hiring Range

The hiring range for this position is $97,000 to $121,000, plus a non-discretionary bonus. The candidate selected will be placed according to his/her skills and qualifications.
