Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Designer to develop documents, drawings, and diagrams that meet client requirements in a professional, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities include forming preliminary space plans, validating safety and aesthetics, and coordinating with allied design professionals to finalize construction documents for filing with code enforcement authorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program (NCIDQ a plus).
  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or REVIT and Architectural Desktop.
  • Ability to read and review construction documents and provide technical sign-off.
  • Strong communication and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate preliminary space plans and sketches that integrate the client’s needs.
  • Confirm design concepts meet safety, functional, and welfare requirements.
  • Coordinate and compile furniture, fixtures, and millwork specifications and documentation.
  • Ensure contract documents are prepared to facilitate pricing, procurement and installation.
  • Assist with administration of contract documents, bids and negotiations.
