Job description

We are hiring a Project Delivery Leader in Water Resources to support existing clients and develop new business opportunities firm-wide. As a senior member of our firmwide development team, you will lead various structural pursuits and projects related to transportation, primarily focusing on water resources. Your responsibilities will include the design and management of drainage studies, storm drainage systems, flood studies, stormwater management, and erosion control.

This role can be remote with required travel to project sites as needed.

Essential Functions

1. Manage mid to large-sized transportation projects related to water resources, drainage, and stormwater management for agencies such as DOTs and counties.
2. Support business development through proposals, bids, RFPs, and leveraging current projects and clients.
3. Design and analyze storm drainage systems.
4. Design Stormwater Control Measures (SCM).
5. Design sediment and erosion control BMPs.
6. Prepare environmental permit drawings.

Required Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
2. 10+ years of water resources design experience.
3. PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
4. Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic principles.
5. Effective communication skills with staff and clients.
6. Ability to collaborate with other disciplines for practical solutions.
7. Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM software.
8. Experience with public stormwater and drainage projects.

Preferred Skills and Experience

1. Stormwater projects for cities, counties, and states.
2. Managing engineering design and production.
3. Experience with alternative delivery projects.
4. Working in multiple states.
