Project Data Engineer II role supporting a client in Oak Ridge, TN with an onsite work arrangement. You will build and maintain data integration solutions, automated workflows, and reporting to help deliver accurate, timely project information. This full‑time position includes a standard Monday to Friday schedule (40 hours per week) and a benefits package designed to support you and your family, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid vacation, 401K, and long‑and‑short‑term disability.
What you’ll do
- Develop, maintain, integrate, and improve project data integration solutions connecting information across multiple projects, engineering, and business systems.
- Design and support automated data workflows, reporting tools, dashboards, and related applications that produce accurate and timely project information.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and other teams to identify data requirements and implement solutions that support project execution and decision‑making.
- Monitor data quality, troubleshoot integration issues, and implement improvements to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability of project data.
- Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement of data processes, reporting standards, and integration tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
What you bring
- Associate degree in a technical field plus 2+ years of relevant experience in project data management, data engineering, or software.
- Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining project data, automated workflows, databases, reporting solutions, or similar data‑driven applications.
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools, database technologies, and data transformation or integration processes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify data issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and implement practical solutions.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and support data needs across complex technical projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to work effectively with engineering, project management, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening exam.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security access badge.
