Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) seeks a Project Controls Engineer III to support our client in Oak Ridge, TN. This role focuses on integrating cost and schedule data with our accounting systems to meet financial goals.

You will identify changes to scope, estimate cost and schedule impacts, and work with project management to keep programs on track. A bachelor's in engineering or business and 6+ years of experience are required, with DOE policy familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or closely related field with 6+ years of direct experience; 10+ years may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proficient with Primavera P6, Oracle Cloud, Cobra, SAP, WebEVM (CloudEVM), Acumen; Primavera P6 a must.
• Working knowledge of DOE policies, procedures, and requirements in project management.
• Strong planning, organization, and schedule compliance.
• Experience with cost control, change management and reporting.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and be eligible for security badge.

Responsibilities

• Manages integration of cost and schedule data and reporting with company's accounting and management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and financial goals.
• Ensure identification and tracking of changes/potential changes to project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and the Project Management.
• Participates in planning, development, monitoring, and control of project scope, cost, and schedule integration.

Requirements

• Must have a bachelor's in engineering or business or a closely related field with 6+ years of direct experience supporting the technical aspects and execution of projects. 10+ years of direct relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office, Primavera P6 & Oracle Cloud, Cobra, SAP, WebEVM (CloudEVM), Acumen (Primavera P6 is a must).
• Working knowledge and understanding of U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) policies, procedures, and requirements in areas associated with project management.
• Demonstrated skills in planning, organization, and schedule compliance.
• Demonstrated skills in cost control, change management and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience with project plans, schedules, budget, tasks, troubleshooting, and ensuring project quality and safety standards are met.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening exam.
• Must be eligible to obtain a security access badge.

Location/Work Arrangement

• This position is in Oak Ridge, TN.
• Schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday 40-hour week.
