Stellantis is seeking an Economics Manager to oversee cost development for vehicle programs from Pre-Contract Commitment to Start of Production and possibly end of life. This role ensures target costs, tooling costs, and buy-in align with the business case, collaborating with executives and release engineers.
The manager will lead cross-functional cost reviews, drive design alternatives, and manage multiple cost tools and reference data to optimize total program cost.
The Cross Carline and Project Engineering Team is a critical part of the vehicle development with responsibility to ensure overall program level feasibility and target setting. The Economics Manager is responsible for managing cost development (cost loops and assessments) for programs from the Pre-Contract Commitment Milestone through Start of Production and potentially the end of life for a vehicle program. The Manager will own the target development process to ensure total production cost and supplier tooling costs are complete and rational to support the business case. The Manager will work with multiple cross functional organizations and all levels of management from senior executives to product design and release engineers.
