Stellantis Auburn site seeks an Economics Manager to oversee cost development for vehicle programs from pre-contract through start of production. You will own target development, ensure total production costs are rational, and work with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency.
Responsibilities include setting component cost targets, applying design-to-cost savings, and leading reviews with sourcing, design, and program management. Strong leadership and MS Office skills are essential.
The Cross Carline and Project Engineering Team is a critical part of the vehicle development with responsibility to ensure overall program level feasibility and target setting. The Economics Manager is responsible for managing cost development (cost loops and assessments) for programs from the Pre-Contract Commitment Milestone through Start of Production and potentially the end of life for a vehicle program. The Manager will own the target development process to ensure total production cost and supplier tooling costs are complete and rational to support the business case. The Manager will work with multiple cross‑functional organizations and all levels of management from senior executives to product design and release engineers.
