Peyton Resource Group is seeking a Project Controls Cost Lead for a rapidly growing industrial manufacturing client. The position supports large-scale capital projects at a new advanced manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX.

The role leads project cost controls, forecasting, financial reporting, and collaboration across project management, finance, accounting, and contractor teams for a greenfield build. Strong SAP, Excel, and ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project cost controls on medium to large industrial capital projects.
• Solid ERP experience, preferably SAP.
• Ability to forecast contractor costs and work with finance/accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or related field.
• Thrives in collaborative, schedule-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead project cost control and financial planning for capital projects.
• Develop and maintain project forecasts, budgets, and weekly cost reports.
• Partner with project managers, contractors, finance, and accounting teams.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, accruals, and disbursement projections.
• Monitor project performance through KPIs, earned value analysis, and dashboards.
• Administer cost management systems and ensure ERP reconciliation.
• Support capital appropriation requests and purchasing activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project cost control and financial planning for capital projects

Required Qualifications

• Background in mining, heavy industrial/manufacturing, oil & gas, telecom, or semiconductor industries
