Job summary

Bartech Staffing is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to join a team and manage cost forecasting and reporting for a diverse portfolio of projects. This role requires working with a team of Project Controls Analysts and Schedulers, with mentorship to develop stronger project controls skills.

The position is full-time and hybrid, with three days per week in the Plainfield, IN office. Candidates should possess strong data analytics, Excel, and communication skills, and may have PMI or AACE

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a two-year college or university in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent field
  • Minimum of 2 years of project controls experience
  • Alternatively, minimum of 5 years of project controls experience in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated working knowledge with Project Management/Project Controls concepts/Computer Applications such as Scheduling Software, Financial Tools, Spreadsheets
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic project controls principles

Job description

Workers at this level are responsible for routine aspects of project control assignments with close supervision. Workers are expected to develop their skills and gain the ability to work with increased independence.

This worker will be expected to work with a team of Project Controls Analysts and Schedulers. Workers at this level will perform cost forecasting and reporting tasks for a portfolio of projects budgeted anywhere from $10K to $1M annual spend, comparing monthly actuals to the project baseline, identifying variances. This position will work in partnership with a more experienced Project Controls Analyst.

Requirements - education & experience
  • Graduation from a two-year college or university in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent field

Full time, hybrid position with 3 days per week in office in Plainfield.
