Qualifications

  • Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 3 years bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Preferred: 3 years in project cost accounting.

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Project Cost Administrator to join our amazing culture in Strategic Enterprise Solutions Team (SES). In this role, you will be responsible for service contract bookings, invoicing and assisting in AR collections. What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

  • Books new service contract and change orders, sends notifications of bookings to internal stakeholders. Updates required systems with information on bookings.
  • Invoices service contracts, monthly, quarterly, annual as applicable to ensure timely invoicing to meet customer deadlines.
  • Assists accounts receivable team to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Submit invoices through Customer Portals
  • Reviews of invoices for accuracy
  • Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” always, thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer’s 1st choice for service
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

What You’ll Need

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills and ability to deal with a wide cross section of people both internal and external to the business.
  • Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
  • Solid financial analytical skills including cost control and ability to interpret financial reports.
  • Solid accounts receivable knowledge.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and results focused.
  • Solid team orientation.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong organizational/time management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software including ability to track invoices, run reports, data entry, etc.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

  • 3 years bookkeeping or an accounting environment
  • 3 years project cost accounting
  • 2 years in a construction environment
