Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

The Project Control Officer will support Business Management in daily compliance operations, assist Project Managers in the Chief Administrative Office team with managing Compliance Technology Investments and the Compliance Transformation Plan, and support the Engagement and Communications Manager with engagement initiatives and administrative tasks.

What will you do?

  1. Provide administrative support to Project and Program Managers to ensure projects follow established processes and timelines.
  2. Analyze project plans and status reports, flag issues, risks, and upcoming tasks.
  3. Maintain project data for accuracy and compliance, support audits, and facilitate communication.
  4. Handle administrative responsibilities such as managing calendars, coordinating travel, submitting expenses, preparing presentations, and supporting project tools.

Business Management and Employee Engagement

  1. Support Staff Position Requests, reviews, approvals, and related technology.
  2. Assist with data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting for the Business Management Team.
  3. Contribute to reports on Financial Forecasting, FTE Management, and Non-Financial Metrics.
  4. Collaborate on managing the Employee Rewards Program, including tracking and awarding points.
  5. Provide ad hoc reporting and administrative support as needed.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • 1-2+ years' experience in project and business management.
  • Experience with calendar management, travel coordination, and expense submissions.
  • Ability to collaborate across groups, maintain project budgets, and report on progress.
  • Experience supporting project managers, escalating issues, and managing project documents.
  • Proficiency in developing status reports and monitoring repositories.
  • High adaptability to change.

Nice-to-have

  • Bachelor's Degree (not required).

The salary range for this position is $65,000-105,000, depending on experience and market conditions. Additional earning potential is available through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program.
