Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator in Stafford, TX to take full ownership of standard projects from order receipt through delivery.

You will serve as the primary customer interface, coordinating communications and ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will manage project milestones, track progress, and escalate deviations early, while collaborating with engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics and sales teams in a ISO 9001:2015

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, customer support, or operations in an engineering, industrial or similar environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
• Ability to travel on occasion.
• Exposure to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of standard and repeatable projects from order receipt through delivery, ensuring objectives are met.
• Act as the primary customer interface, managing communications and stakeholder expectations to ensure satisfaction and project success.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets and reporting to ensure on-time delivery and margin protection.
• Coordinate communications between internal functions (engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics, sales).
• Represent the company professionally and adhere to ISO 9001:2015 procedures.

What Will You Do?

• Take full ownership of our standard and repeatable projects from order receipt through delivery, ensuring financial, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.
• Act as the primary customer interface, proactively managing communications, escalations, stakeholder expectations, and relationship health to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, reporting, and follow-up activities to ensure on-time delivery, margin protection, and early escalation of deviations to team leaders or supervisors.
• Coordinate communications between internal functions (engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics, sales)
• Apply project management processes and follow internal procedures in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
• Represent Howden, a Chart Industries Company, with professionalism and accountability.
• Support a culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project flow and profitability.

Your Experience Should Be...

• 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, customer support, or operations in an engineering, industrial or similar environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple standard projects simultaneously with structured follow-through or lower-complex projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in similar roles.
• High ethical standards, teamwork, and compliance with regulations.
• Strong organizational, time management, accuracy, and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize when to elevate issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel on occasion, as required.
• Experience in ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards
• Exposure to project management methods; certification is beneficial but not essentail
• Familiarity with rotating equipment & general air & gas handling industry
