Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. in Medina, OH is seeking a Project Coordinator to take ownership of standard and repeatable projects from order receipt through delivery. You will ensure financial, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.

You will act as the primary customer interface, manage communications and expectations, coordinate internal functions, and help drive improvements while adhering to ISO 9001:2015 quality processes. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in project coordination or similar.
• Experience in engineering or industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Manage schedules, milestones, budgets, reporting and follow-up activities.

What Will You Do?

• Take full ownership of our standard and repeatable projects from order receipt through delivery, ensuring financial, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.
• Act as the primary customer interface, proactively managing communications, escalations, stakeholder expectations, and relationship health to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, reporting, and follow-up activities to ensure on-time delivery, margin protection, and early escalation of deviations to team leaders or supervisors.
• Coordinate communications between internal functions (engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics, sales)
• Apply project management processes and follow internal procedures in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
• Represent Howden, a Chart Industries Company, with professionalism and accountability.
• Support a culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project flow and profitability.

What Do You Need to Bring?

• 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, customer support, or operations in an engineering, industrial or similar environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple standard projects simultaneously with structured follow-through or lower-complex projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in similar roles.
• High ethical standards, teamwork, and compliance with regulations.
• Strong organizational, time management, accuracy, and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize when to escalation issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel on occasion, as required.
• Experience in ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards
• Exposure to project management methods; certification is beneficial but not essentail
• Familiarity with rotating equipment & general air & gas handling industry
