Job summary

Dycomind is seeking a Project Coordinator in Irving, TX to support telecom construction projects. You will work directly for the Construction Supervisor, coordinating CATV deployments and site access with property owners to meet customer specs.

Responsibilities include preparing statements of work, building job packets with photos and maps, requisitioning materials, and creating line-item estimates to help complete projects on schedule. Some overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience coordinating outside plant telecom projects or utility projects.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule walkouts with property owners to define specs.
• Coordinate construction efforts to meet deadlines and site access.
• Prepare a statement of work.
• Build job packets with photos, maps and supporting documentation.
• Requisition materials for operations.
• Prepare line-item cost estimates.
• Resolve complaints with property owners.
• Maintain accurate As-Built maps for submission.
• Work assigned shifts, including overtime.

What you’ll do

• Work directly for Construction Supervisor.
• CoordinateCATV projects to ensure that all operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications.
• Schedule walkout with property owners to evaluate job specifications.
• Coordinate construction efforts with Construction Supervisor for project completion by predetermined deadlines including site access.
• Prepare a statement of work.
• Build a job packet including photos, maps and supporting documentation.
• Requisition materials needed for the construction operations.
• Prepare a line item cost estimate.
• Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are assigned.
• Complete and maintain accurate \"AsBuilt Maps\" for areas built to submit to Supervisor.
• Work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime

What you’ll need

• At least 18 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
• Have 1-2 years of experience in delivering outside plant telecommunications services or utility industry project coordination.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office experience including experience utilizing digital calendars.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to try new things.
• Willing to work overtime and some weekends as needed.
