Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical writing support and updates for new and existing documentation.
  2. Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, with high quality and within budget.
  3. Develop quality, user-friendly formats and templates for future publications, adhering to industry and customer standards.
  4. Edit and manage technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  5. Collaborate with subject matter experts in creating and implementing documentation.
  6. Familiarize with relevant products, services, concepts, practices, and procedures.
  7. Prioritize, organize, and complete multiple activities within established deadlines, using experience and judgment.
  8. Collect, analyze, and compile information from various resources for documentation purposes.
  9. Manage review and approval processes, including comment resolution.
  10. Create and maintain organized, succinct, and compliant documents meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  11. Manage websites, libraries, repositories, workflows, newsletters, and process engineering changes as assigned.
  12. Update project schedules regularly and perform requirements traceability and publishing as needed.
  13. Perform records management and training functions related to configuration management.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an associate's degree with relevant experience, or current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree with experience in technical writing.
Desired Experience:
  • Experience developing content from resources such as product specifications and interviews with technical experts.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and familiarity with Adobe software for PDF creation and modification.
  • Strong written communication skills and knowledge of electronic document publication and printing.
  • Teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in high-tech industries, labs, or governmental agencies, with familiarity with documentation practices, configuration management, and standards such as ASME, IEEE, IEC.
  • Experience with Documentum and Confluence platforms.
