About The Role

A leading commercial roofing contractor serving the Los Angeles market is seeking a Hybrid Project Coordinator / Roofing Superintendent to support field operations and ensure project success. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on roofing experience who also has strong organizational and communication skills to manage schedules, subcontractors, and materials both in the field and from the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial roofing projects across Los Angeles.
• Act as a liaison between the field crew, project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment rentals, and labor scheduling.
• Monitor safety compliance and conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality and scope adherence.
• Track job progress and update internal systems with photos, notes, and scheduling changes.
• Assist with job start-up and close-out documentation.
• Help prepare submittals, RFIs, and change orders in coordination with the office team.
• Provide leadership and direction to field crews to meet deadlines and budget expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing (preferred single-ply, TPO, or built-up systems).
• Prior field supervision or project coordination experience required.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, scopes, and project flow.
• Ability to read blueprints and roofing specifications.
• Tech-savvy with experience using construction management software.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
