Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a Project Coordinator for Stafford, TX to take full ownership of standard projects from order receipt through delivery, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will be the main customer interface, coordinating with engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics and sales to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in project coordination or operations in an engineering, industrial or similar environments.
• Ability to manage multiple standard projects simultaneously with structured follow-through.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• High ethical standards, teamwork, and compliance with regulations.
• Strong organizational, time management, accuracy, and communication skills.
• Experience in ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
• Exposure to project management methods; certification is beneficial but not essential.
• Familiarity with rotating equipment & general air & gas handling industry

• Act as the primary customer interface, proactively managing communications, escalations, stakeholder expectations, and relationship health to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, reporting, and follow-up activities to ensure on-time delivery, margin protection, and early escalation of deviations to team leaders or supervisors.
• Coordinate communications between internal functions (engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics, sales)
• Apply project management processes and follow internal procedures in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

What Do You Need to Bring?

• 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, customer support, or operations in an engineering, industrial or similar environments.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple standard projects simultaneously with structured follow-through or lower-complex projects.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in similar roles.

• High ethical standards, teamwork, and compliance with regulations.

• Strong organizational, time management, accuracy, and communication skills.

• Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize when to escalat issues.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to travel on occasion, as required.

• Experience in ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards

• Exposure to project management methods; certification is beneficial but not essentail

• Familiarity with rotating equipment & general air & gas handling industry
