System One is actively recruiting for a Project Coordinator (Solar Garden Projects) for a long-term contract position located in Minneapolis, MN.

Grow your experience and potential as a marketing assistant for a renewable choice program operations team, ensuring the customer experience is well executed across a wide variety of touch points and channels. Work directly to support solar developers via email, phone and exceptional attention to detail performing operational processes. 5% marketing and customer experience tools; 95% program process delivery to help developers. This position will support program managers in delivering the customer experience and program operations for our solar industry, with emphasis on customer and trade relations, process implementation and improvements, data management, marketing activities and working with teams across company to deliver great experience for our customers participating in our renewable choice programs.

The Project Coordinator will handle the subscriber requirements meaning that they will work with developers (solar garden owners) on subscriber bill credits, reporting, allocation, etc. Each subscriber to a garden is allocated a certain percentage of the garden. Within that, that subscriber will receive bill credit on their monthly bill. The bill credit is calculated based on what type of subscriber they are (i.e., low income, etc.) which means that they are billed differently depending on what type of class/level the subscriber is at.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Managing the program inbox, responding to inquiries, biweekly calls when necessary.
  • Support operational/transactional duties.
  • Handle reporting that is already set up; they will be required to review to ensure reporting is accurate/correct.
  • Weekly check in’s with team and program manager.

Project Coordinator Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience or willing to review candidates who are just out of school with no experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Excel/Microsoft Office/tools.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus in addition to CRS experience (CRS is a Customer Database where customer bills, usage and other customer data is housed).
  • SAP experience would be helpful as well.
  • Very strong communication skills in addition to strong organization/time management skills.
  • Background in Business/marketing/administration or degree would be strongly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Would like to see customer service background or coming from an energy/utility company.
  • Strong ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to answer questions.
  • Someone who shows ambition and can be a team player, takes initiative.

Project Location: Minneapolis, MN
Work Schedule: Hybrid Work Schedule - onsite 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), with flexibility due to weather, etc.
Hourly Pay Rate: $24.00/hr.
