Crawford Electric Supply in Geismar, LA is seeking a Project Coordinator to support customers and manage project execution from quote to delivery. You will coordinate orders, track timelines, and resolve shipping discrepancies with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

• Maintain knowledge of products and pricing to support customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Practices good interpersonal relations, using tact, courtesy, a positive attitude toward customers and co-workers, pleasant telephone and email etiquette, and a general attitude as a representative of goodwill on behalf of the company at work or during company travel.
• Handles difficulties with customers and works directly to resolve issues related to fabrication, site preparation etc.
• Assists customers with shipping discrepancies and defective materials on job-related orders.
• Expedites material when material is needed faster than normal lead times.
• Resolves customer order problems and complaints promptly.
• Acquires, uses and continuously develops personal technical knowledge of general and specialty merchandise items to assist customers and other company personnel.
• Ability to prepare quotations, for customers.
• Identifies, uses and maintains appropriate company and/or customer pricing systems.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Previous project management experience a plus. Self-starter who can work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to do take-offs

Specific Qualifications

• A college degree and/or equivalent industry experience is requested.
• Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Acrobat.
