Core & Main, a leader in reliable infrastructure, is seeking a Project Coordinator to support initiatives from initiation through completion, maintaining plans, schedules, and governance. You will partner with project managers and stakeholders to monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes organization, documentation, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination across waterworks, construction supplies, and logistics.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–5 years of project coordination/administrative/operations experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word.
  • Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to collect and analyze information, maintain records, and prepare reports/presentations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities with limited supervision.
  • Ability to identify issues, track resolutions, and elevate concerns.

  • Maintain and organize project documentation, records, meeting materials, and repositories.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze project information related to scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and status updates.
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc project reports, presentations, dashboards, and communications.
  • Track milestones, action items, dependencies, and deliverables; follow up with owners for timely completion.
  • Identify, document, and elevate project risks and issues to leadership.
  • Coordinate project meetings; prepare agendas, notes, distribute materials, and maintain action-item logs.
  • Support resource planning and administration, tracking requirements and coordinating stakeholder participation.
  • Monitor progress against timelines and provide status updates to managers and stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of PM processes, templates, and reporting tools.
  • Ensure records and communications adhere to governance standards.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Summary: Responsible for coordinating and supporting projects from initiation through completion by maintaining project plans, schedules, documentation, and reporting. Ensures project activities remain aligned with defined scope, timelines, quality standards, and resource requirements. Partners with project managers and stakeholders to monitor progress, identify risks, and facilitate effective communication across project teams. Contributes to successful project delivery through effective organization, issue tracking, and administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities
