Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator I to join the Charlotte, NC team. The role supports project teams by managing documents in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ensuring correct filing, naming, and metadata while assisting with transmissions and logs.

Responsibilities include uploading documents, maintaining version control, generating basic reports, and aiding project closeout.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or coursework in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Entry level position. Zero to Three (0-3) years of administrative, project support, or office coordination experience a plus.
  • Exposure to Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar document management systems preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with engineering or construction documents a plus.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to learn software systems and follow detailed instructions.

  • Assist with preparing and issuing document transmittals and maintaining document logs.
  • Help maintain version control by filing documents in the correct locations and revisions.
  • Apply document updates or revisions as instructed.

  • Assist with project closeout activities by organizing and archiving project documentation.
  • Perform accuracy checks to ensure documents are complete and legible before release.

Purpose

Provides entry‑level project support by assisting with document control and coordination activities using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). This role supports project teams by ensuring documents are uploaded, transmitted, organized, and maintained according to established project and company procedures.

Leadership and Direction
  • Perform assigned project coordination and document control tasks under direction from project management or senior project support staff.
  • Follow established procedures, workflows, and instructions related to document management.
  • Escalate questions, inconsistencies, or issues to the appropriate project team members.
  • Demonstrate reliability, accuracy, and a willingness to learn project systems and processes.
At The Operational And Company Level
  • Support document control activities within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for assigned projects.
  • Assist with transmitting project documents to internal teams and external parties following defined processes.
  • Help ensure documents are filed using required naming conventions, folder structures, and metadata.
  • Track document status and support routine reporting as directed.
  • Respond to basic document requests from project team members.
  • Support compliance with company and project documentation requirements.
Do the Work
