General Summary

Coordinates project teams of up to five people including planning, scheduling, and control of project and program activities. Acts as a specialist for specific projects with detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects. Maintains a knowledge base of new developments and technology. Monitors project progress and recommends changes to improve operating efficiency. Works with project manager to develop budgetary estimates.

Principal Acountabilities

The project coordinator manages small projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance as assigned, providing oversight of the staff involved in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring to ensure that work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget. This includes all aspects of project implementation including budget, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, work prioritization, resource loading, and work execution including resolution of schedule delays and conflicts.

Develops the budgets, including tracking cost versus budget for assigned projects. Assures proper progress and focus through frequent interface with the client, engineers, related parties, and management.

Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors.

Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups including senior management.

Develop and maintain long range plan strategies associated with assigned projects.

Supports department project functions including but not limited to: credit card reconciliations, purchases, in-processing, qualification assignments, travel arrangements, etc.

Support effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.

Required Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university AND one year of experience in a technical field OR Associate’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND three years of experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND five years of experience in a technical field engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field.

Pay Range

$92,750.00 – $139,124.00 Annual

Midpoint $115,937.00

Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

Incentive Compensation

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate’s qualifications.

This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
