Position Overview:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and bath design projects. From overseeing materials procurement to coordinating with vendors and ensuring deadlines are met, this role is vital in maintaining the flow and efficiency of our design studio’s production cycle. This is a hands-on position requiring excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a strong understanding of the design and construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire production process of kitchen and bath projects, from initial design approval to final installation.
  • Coordinate with design teams, vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials.
  • Schedule and manage project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and projects stay on track.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all deliverables, including materials, designs, and finishes.
  • Work with installers, clients, and project designers to resolve any production issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, inspect work quality, and ensure safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with the design team to maintain the aesthetic and functional vision of the project while ensuring practicality during execution.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the production team, including contractors and installers.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in production management, preferably in the kitchen and bath or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen and bath design, including construction techniques, materials, and finishes.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret design plans and construction drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, team members, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and building codes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field, but not required.
  • Someone who loves math, can do fractions in their head, read a tape measure to the 1/16” and understands basic geometry.
  • Familiarity with CAD or other design software a plus but not required.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary and benefits package based on experience.
  • Room for growth and advancement within the company.
  • Exciting and diverse projects that challenge your skills and creativity.

If you're a proactive and detail-oriented professional (maybe even a little OCD…) with a passion for interior construction and kitchen and bath design, you may be what we are looking for. Apply today to join our team and help create beautiful, functional spaces for our clients.
