Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking a Client Benefits Administrator to coordinate the day-to-day administration of client employee benefits programs and deliver outstanding service to all involved in the client management process. The role emphasizes accuracy, meeting deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple projects, reports, and leadership materials.

A Bachelor’s degree, 1+ year of professional office experience, and a valid insurance license are required; marketing experience is a plus

Qualifications

  • One (1) or more years work experience in a professional office environment.
  • Marketing experience preferred.
  • Valid Insurance License.
  • Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day administration of client employee benefits programs and provide outstanding service to all involved in the client management process.
  • Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents; prepare background documents and outgoing mail and email as necessary.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate workflow and projects as assigned.
  • Assist with preparation of materials, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations for leadership duties and assembly of materials as needed.
  • Respond independently to letters and general correspondence of a routine nature.
  • Research and analyze administrative projects; prepare first draft reports.
  • Maintain data integrity in the agency management system.

SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administration of client employee benefits programs and providing outstanding service to all involved in the client management process. Ensures all tasks and projects are completed with accuracy and within the specified timeline to ensure 100% satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deals with complex questions on the phone, by email or in person, requiring a thorough knowledge of company operations, policies, procedures and personnel;
  • Reviews and summarizes miscellaneous reports and documents; prepares background documents and outgoing mail and email as necessary;
  • Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously, and follows through on issues in a timely manner;
  • Coordinates workflow and projects as assigned;
  • Assists with preparation of materials, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and proposals for leadership role duties and assembly of materials as needed;
  • Responds independently to letters and general correspondence of a routine nature;
  • Researches and analyzes administrative projects; prepares first draft reports;
  • Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One (1) or more yearswork experience in a professional office environment
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Valid Insurance License
  • Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor
