$34.00/hr - $35.00/hr

  • Description: The Supplier Onboarding position is responsible for ensuring the newly sourced supplier gets up to speed quickly to onboard efficiently. The individual will liaise with various teams to ensure all documentation is submitted, supplier training is completed, and support the supplier through the early stages of establishing a successful long-term relationship.
  • Supplier Account Setup: Manage the onboarding process, including account creation on the platform, sending invitations to vendors, and integrating into the ERP system.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Collect and verify necessary documents such as safety certificates, insurance, and quality records, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct assessments of existing suppliers to identify and resolve discrepancies or compliance issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Buying, Finance, and other teams to align sourcing strategies with market demands.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps and suggest enhancements to streamline supplier onboarding.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on onboarding status, risks, and performance metrics to management and teams.
  • Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in procurement or administration within the automotive industry, focusing on supplier onboarding and compliance.
  • Skills:
  • Understanding of procurement processes and their implications.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
  • Proficiency with onboarding platforms and ERP systems.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and KPIs with quick turnaround and quality service.
  • Knowledge of industry standards like ISO/TS 16949 and PPAP.
  • Languages: Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Additional Must-Haves:
  • Basic knowledge of automotive suppliers and onboarding tasks.
  • Familiarity with ISO, PPAP, and other standards.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Onsite 3 days/week, WFH 2 days/week.
  • No Driving required.
