Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Project Specialist to provide analytical and technical support to department management, with basic financial tracking and invoice processing. The role handles moderately complex, project-oriented assignments, leading and coordinating initiatives to meet milestones with attention to detail.

Under management guidance, you will perform high-level clerical support, assist with rollout of initiatives, and ensure compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two years experience in related discipline to include one year of project management experience.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (i.e. creating pivot tables, performing v-lookups, and managing large data sets).

Responsibilities

• Facilitates open, professional communication to achieve mutual understanding and provide high-quality service.
• Coordinates meetings relevant to project scope and prepares materials.
• Supports interprofessional workgroups and collaborates with other entity operations staff.
