Source One Technical Solutions in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a consultant to work with our regional energy and utility client. This onsite position runs for 24 months and pays $35.21 per hour (W2).

You will coordinate field outreach, manage door-to-door delivery operations, and walk 7–10 miles daily while delivering 600–700 door hangers across multiple municipalities; local Middlesex/Mercer/Union candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in business/communications.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; PC skills essential.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record; mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• This position supports field outreach to notify customers and businesses of construction impacts.
• Coordinate field outreach and weekly scheduling; manage safety and logistics for field work.
• Track outreach data including route, affected businesses/homes, and issues for reporting.
• Manage outreach materials inventory and monthly expenditures.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports; generate ad-hoc reports from systems.
• Support construction website updates and canvassing activities.
• Receive outreach requests and prepare letters and door hangers for delivery.
• Walk 7–10 miles daily delivering 600–700 door hangers to residences and businesses.
• Place door hangers and, for businesses, deliver to owner/manager.

Source One is a consulting services company and we’re currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant with our direct client, a regional energy and utility client in South Plainfield, NJ

No Third-Party, No Corp to Corp, No Sponsorship Now, Future or Current Temporary Authorization

Location: South Plainfield, NJ

Onsite (Mon-Fri, 40 hours)

Contract Duration: 24 months

Pay Rate: $35.21 per hour (w2)

Responsibilities

• This position supports construction project public affairs/project outreach through a combination of internal and external resources to meet program goals:
• Coordinate all aspects of field outreach needed to ensure timely and effective notification of construction impacts to customers and businesses, including gathering multiple schedules and prioritizing and setting a work schedule for the week ahead;
• Maintain the day-to-day safety and communication logistics of field outreach work and keeping a pulse on variable field conditions, amending the schedule as necessary;
• Track all field notification data inclusive of street span for notifications made, number of businesses and homes touched, critical facilities identified along the route, as well as identifying any major issues that need the attention of a Public Affairs Specialist (Client);
• Maintain inventory control of outreach materials, including doorknob hangers, letters, etc., including the tracking of monthly expenditures;
• Development, preparation and analysis of operational reports (customer interaction tracker, etc.);
• Development and generation of ad-hoc reports and operational reports from existing system;
• Support construction website updates;
• General knowledge of campaign canvassing, door to door delivery
• Receive outreach request emails containing assignment details (letter, door hanger type, route map, and quantities).
• Print, fold, assemble, and insert outreach letters into door hangers.
• Walk 7–10 miles per day in all seasons while performing deliveries.
• Deliver 600–700 door hangers per day to residential and business customers across multiple municipalities (typically 4–6 per day).
• Place door hangers on residential doors; for businesses, enter the premises and deliver materials directly to the owner or manager.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience: business/communications experience
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated Excel, PowerPoint, Word and PC skills

Remarks:

• * HM prefers local candidates from Middlesex, Mercer, or Union so that they can get to both ends of the state in about an hour.
• *Contractor will need to use own vehicle; mileage and tolls can be expensed.
