Job summary

Hermanson Company is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project leaders and field teams at the project site. Responsibilities include customer service, clerical duties, and clerical support for PMs and sales staff to keep projects on track from opening through closeout.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of progressive experience, strong communication, organization, and computer skills (MS Office); Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years progressive experience in similar duties.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and database navigation.

Responsibilities

  • Open projects after award and maintain logs.
  • Prepare procurement, RFI and submittal logs; create site folders.
  • Support PMs and Sales with clerical tasks and coordination.
  • Assist with safety plans, permits, and closeout packages.
  • Coordinate weekly SPD meetings and team events; assist field and office staff.

Project Coordinator

Hermanson is seeking a Project Coordinator. This person will support the Hermanson leaders and employees at the Project Site. Responsibilities including but not limited to customer service, general clerical duties, and clerical support of the PM’s and Salespeople

Responsibilities
  • Opening projects once they have been awarded.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement, RFI and submittal logs.
  • Creating job books.
  • Creating site specific safety plans.
  • Permit assistance.
  • Creating and updating job folders.
  • Filling out subcontract request forms.
  • Compiling closeout packages upon project completion (O&Ms, warranty letters, as-builts, etc).
  • General support for both office and field such as:
    • Gathering and generating submittal packages.
    • Processing purchase orders.
    • Journal adjustments.
    • Updating Stat Shortcuts/Executive Summaries.
    • Putting in print requests for the field.
    • Filling out expense reports for both field and office employees.
    • Sending out weekly transaction reports.
    • Track and update procurement log.
  • Scheduling events including but not limited to:
    • Weekly/Monthly SPD Meetings.
    • Team Building Events/Quarterly Celebrations.

The salary range for this position is $55,000.to $70,000.

(The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).

Qualifications
  • The qualified candidate must have at least 3 years progressive experience in performing duties and responsibilities similar to those mentioned above. In addition, the candidate should:
    • Have a strong motivational fit for mechanical systems, design, and construction.
    • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Be able to demonstrate strong organization skills.
    • Possess good computer skills, including MS Office and being able to navigate databases, enterprise systems and online content with ease.
  • Experience in a fast-paced business environment is preferred
  • The successful candidate should have the ability to quickly learn Hermanson Company’s processes and procedures
Education

Bachelors Degree preferred. Minimum requirements is a high school degree or GED.
