Summit Line Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator for high-voltage electric transmission and distribution projects in Reno, Nevada. The role includes planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks to support project management, including scheduling and budgeting.

Ideal candidates will have strong Microsoft Excel skills, excellent communication abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical plans, 401K with immediate vesting, and more.

Responsibilities

• Assist with budget tracking for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Support the preparation of contracts and assist with negotiating revisions.
• Help develop and manage project Schedule of Values (SOV).
• Maintain electronic and printed files of working documents.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly projections and progress reports.

Position Overview:The Project Coordinator willassistin the planning, organizing, and coordinating of high-voltage electric transmission anddistributionconstruction and maintenance projects. This role involves supporting the project management team with scheduling, budgeting, documentation, communication, and implementation tasks to ensurethe successfulexecution of projects.

What You'll Do

KeyResponsibilities:

Project Support and Coordination:

• Assistwith budget tracking for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Support the preparation of contracts andassistwith negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Help develop and manage project Schedule of Values (SOV), update based on production, and prepare billing packages.
• Organize and prepare progress tracking datato be reported.
• Assistin the organization ofdata intoProjectCompletion Tracking documents.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain electronic and printed files of working documentsin accordance withoutlined document control practices.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly projections and progress reports for all construction activities.
• Assistin preparing and updating project documentation, including submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).

Stakeholder Communication and Issue Resolution:

• Communicate with supervisory personnel, subcontractors, or engineers to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients,representingthe owner or developer.

Material and Quality Management:

• Develop andmaintainproject material trackers based on customer Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, and scope. Track inventories, production, shortages, and damages.
• Support the execution of corrective actions to address delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies.
