Job summary

Toole Design Group in Portland, OR, is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our Project Operations team. You will help keep project information organized, manage administrative processes, and ensure teams stay on track across multiple departments.

This hybrid role offers a salary range of $61,000 to $71,000 with strong benefits, including an employee-owned culture, paid holidays, and generous PTO. You’ll work with a collaborative team focused on equitable transportation design.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a business environment, project coordination, or administrative support role.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles.
  • Basic understanding of Accounts Payable/Receivable processes preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with an ERP system (Deltek Vantagepoint preferred but not required).
  • Experience with Supplier Diversity Management software is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, service-oriented approach with ability to manage multiple priorities.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Coordinator, you'll provide project coordination and administrative support that helps our project teams remain organized, accurate, and on schedule. You'll assist with project setup, documentation, compliance tracking, invoicing support, and coordination across multiple departments while ensuring project information is current and complete. Your attention to detail, organization, and service-oriented approach will help teams deliver successful projects.

We are targeting a salary range of $61,000 to $71,000 for this position, with flexibility for well-qualified candidates.

Requirements
What You Bring:
  • 3–5 years of experience in a business environment, project coordination, or administrative support role, or a business-focused degree with relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles
