Department: Hudson County Behavioral Health-Community Safety Coalition
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (flexibility for community events evenings/weekends)

Position Overview

Manage day-to-day project implementation, including Coalition development and engagement, partner recruitment, meeting facilitation, community assessment activities, MOU development, referral pathway coordination, and implementation monitoring. Primary liaison to Coalition partners and stakeholders. Works closely with the Project Director

Essential Job Functions:
  • Coordinates the day-to-day implementation and operation of the BH-CSC and ensures project activities remain on schedule.
  • Serves as a primary liaison between Bridgeway and coalition partners, stakeholders, and participating community organizations.
  • Coordinates recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and ongoing communication with coalition members.
  • Maintains regular contact with coalition partners to promote participation, follow-through, and completion of assigned activities.
  • Coordinates and facilitates coalition meetings, partner convening’s, workgroups, listening sessions, and other project-related meetings in collaboration with the Project Director.
  • Develops meeting agendas and coordinates materials, presentations, follow-up activities, and action items.
  • Tracks coalition commitments, assigned responsibilities, deadlines, and follow-up activities and communicates outstanding items to appropriate staff and partners.
  • Coordinates development and maintenance of MOUs, partner agreements, designated points of contact, and related coalition documentation.
  • Works with the Project Director, Administrative Assistant, and Bridgeway compliance staff to support timely execution and annual review of MOUs and data-sharing agreements.
  • Supports implementation of the CNRA by coordinating surveys, focus groups, stakeholder participation, community outreach, and collection of information from coalition organizations.
  • Assists the Project Director in facilitating coalition discussions and stakeholder engagement used to develop and update the Community Strategic Plan.
  • Coordinates youth and family listening sessions and other mechanisms for incorporating lived experience into project planning and implementation.
  • Coordinates development and implementation of standardized referral protocols, warm handoffs, closed-loop referrals, and partner communication processes.
  • Monitors referral pathway implementation and works with partners to address operational barriers that interfere with timely service connection.
  • Coordinates project-sponsored Mental Health First Aid, Youth Mental Health First Aid, QPR, trauma-informed care, and other approved training activities.
  • Coordinates participant recruitment, registration, attendance, documentation, partner communication, and follow-up associated with project trainings.
  • Supports implementation of coalition activities related to behavioral health services, post-trauma response, workforce capacity, education, vocational supports, and youth and family engagement.
  • Monitors implementation milestones and provides routine status updates to the Project Director.
  • Assists with maintenance of the project's action log, implementation tracking systems, meeting documentation, and performance-monitoring processes.
  • Collaborates with the Project Evaluator to ensure timely availability of information needed for performance measurement and reporting.
  • Identifies implementation issues and partner concerns and communicates them promptly to the Project Director.
  • Performs community outreach and represents the project at community meetings, events, partner organizations, and stakeholder activities as assigned.
Requirements
Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology or Related Field
  • MUST be a resident of the community being served (Hudson County).
Experience:
  • Must have experience in outreach, education, program coordination, event planning, and coalition development.
Driver’s License, Vehicle:
  • No more than one moving violation within the past 12 months
  • Vehicle required
