Werner in Wisconsin seeks an Order Management Specialist to oversee all project orders from start to finish, including launch, entry, maintenance and ongoing customer communication. You will enter jobs in multiple systems, generate reports, monitor shipping status, and adapt to changes while collaborating with Account Managers and internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.

A high school diploma and 2-4 years of related experience are required, with basic computer and math skills

Responsibilities

• Enter and manage assigned jobs in Job Management, Solar, vendor portals and all applicable systems.
• Create and provide all applicable reports for assigned jobs to Account Managers and customers.
• Review and provide weekly shipping status reports to customers and Account Managers.
• Navigate changes, delays, or unexpected events and adapt approach accordingly.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and external reps to meet customer needs.
• Use systems to initiate methods and documentation needed to launch projects (pre-order entry).
• Collaborate with Product Management, Pricing, Quotation, Delivery and Warehousing teams to build relationships for better customer experience.
• Work with peers and leadership to ensure best practices and high customer satisfaction.

Summary

Manage all project orders received for customers from start to finish. This includes the launch, entry, maintenance, and consistent communication needed for each project.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Enter and manage assigned jobs within Job Management, Solar, vendor portals and all applicable systems.
• Create and provide all applicable reports for assigned jobs to the appropriate Account Managers and customers.
• Review and provide weekly shipping status reports to customers and Account Managers communicating critical shipping information.
• Navigate through frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events and change approach or method to best fit the situation.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and external rep teams to meet and provide solutions to customer needs.
• Monitor and utilize systems to initiate the appropriate methods and documentation needed to launch the assigned projects by preparing and sending pre-order entry submittals.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Pricing, Quotation, Delivery and Warehousing teams to develop and maintain relationships that will allow for a better customer experience.
• Collaborate with peers and leadership to ensure best practices are being utilized to allow for the highest level of customer experience.

Minimum & Preferred Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
