Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven Residential Project Coordinator to oversee projects from contract through installation and completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing many moving pieces at once, and takes pride in keeping information accurate, schedules on track, and communication flowing between everyone involved in a project.

The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver who approaches each project with a critical eye.

Before materials are ever ordered, they take precise field measurements, anticipate potential

conflicts, and develop solutions before they become costly delays. When unexpected challenges arise during installation, they don't wait for someone else to step in — they work directly with the customer, the installation crew, and the broader team to resolve issues quickly, communicate clearly, and keep the project moving forward with minimal disruption.

The Project Coordinator serves as the day-to-day point of contact between clients, contractors, installers, and internal teams once a project moves into production, helping ensure timelines, materials, and site logistics stay aligned.

Responsibilities include:
Project Handoff & Setup
  • Review project details after handoff from Sales for completeness and accuracy
  • Coordinate final on-site measurements and compare results to approved designs, document any discrepancies, coordinate drawing updates.
  • Build out material lists to support the production schedule
  • Coordinate shop drawing review with the cabinet engineer and flag constructability concerns
Scheduling & Materials
  • Track and help build the production schedule, ensuring materials are ordered in time
  • Coordinate scheduling and process details with contractors
  • Monitor for delays and help adjust installation schedule, keeping relevant teams informed
  • Confirm all required materials are ordered on schedule and flag any gaps
  • Prepare and submit project packages (scope, checklists, install dates) to the Shop Foreman
Design & Change Coordination
  • Coordinate any changes between approved designs and shop drawings with the client prior to production release
  • Document change orders and route them for signed approval
  • Support final client sign-oƯ on drawings when design changes occur during measurement
  • Conduct follow-up site visits after on-site structural or mechanical work is completed
  • Prepare installer scope write-ups and material checklists for each project
  • Review the project with the lead installer 3–4 days ahead of the scheduled install date
  • Communicate install timelines to Sales, clients, the Shop Foreman, and the installation crew
  • Set install dates and notify the oƯice once confirmed
  • Notify the lead installer of scheduled countertop template dates
On-Site & Closeout
  • When issues arise during installation, work closely with the customer, internal team, and client to develop solutions quickly — communicating clearly and keeping all parties informed throughout the resolution process
  • Attend countertop template appointments and check on installed cabinetry while on-site
  • Support payment collection during site visits as needed
  • Make closing calls to clients to confirm satisfaction and address any final questions
Commercial Projects
  • Lead ordering, scheduling, and installation coordination through completion on select commercial projects once awarded
Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in project management within residential construction, cabinetry, or remodeling
  • Working understanding of project flow from contract through installation and completion
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, schedules, and priorities at once
  • Comfortable coordinating with contractors, installers, and internal teams
  • Skilled problem-solver who can develop practical solutions — whether in the planning stage or mid-installation
  • Ability to read and reference drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Effective, clear communicator with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Comfortable conducting site visits and documenting field conditions
  • Reliable, professional, and accountable with strong follow-through
  • Experience with basic project management or scheduling tools
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments
