This role requires Primavera P6 proficiency, strong communication with stakeholders and upper management, and the ability to manage multiple projects, develop realistic schedules, monitor progress, and contribute to risk analysis and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• 1+ years with project controls; preferred 1–4 years relevant experience.
• Experience using Primavera P6 and Excel for scheduling and reporting.
• Good written and verbal communication with stakeholders and upper management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.
• Understanding of Cost Management, Estimating and Change Control.
• Candidates must reside within commuting distance to New Orleans; relocation may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager to develop project scope of work.
• Study and understand project documents for plans and schedules.
• Prepare and link schedules using resourced-loaded networks.
• Monitor progress and prepare progress reports.
• Prepare cost forecasts and track expenditures.
• Provide input on budgets and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior project controls staff.”
• Develop/modify project controls processes based on feedback.
