This role involves providing technical support across multiple project controls functions, including but not limited to scheduling, estimating, cost control, risk management, document control, and project management information systems. The Project Controls Specialist II reports on cost controls and schedules, analyzing data, updating systems, and ensuring proper documentation and process adherence.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and analyze various project schedules, including master, baseline, progress, and specialty schedules. Collaborate with schedulers to perform schedule duties, provide updates, and recommend recovery plans.
• Develop cost estimates, including conceptual and change order estimates, and produce related reports and templates. Manage budgets, costs, and variances versus baseline.
• Oversee and maintain project management control systems and document controls, managing resources and responsibilities for documentation across engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Establish and maintain project controls procedures covering cost estimating, scheduling, document control, reporting, risk management, and claims analysis.
• Assess impacts of design/construction changes, assist in developing workarounds and recovery plans, and communicate deviations, risks, and trends to management. Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Create reports for clients and project management to monitor progress, supporting internal and external meetings with analysis and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field plus 6 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, 10 years of relevant experience or 6 years of direct contractor experience in lieu of a degree.

What We Prefer:

• Experience in three or more project lifecycle phases (pre-design, design, procurement, construction, post-construction).
• Experience working as a client's PM/CM or as part of a design-build team.
• One or more AACE certifications: PSP, EVP, CCP, CEP, DRMP, or equivalent.
