Job summary

HDR in Omaha, Nebraska is looking for a Project Controls professional to lead and manage complex project schedules and coordinate with team members effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of project controls experience in engineering and construction projects.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Establish WBS, and develop and maintain complex project schedules for various phases of the project
  • Coordinate with necessary team members
  • Develop and monitor project metrics
  • Participate in project coordination meetings
  • Conduct project site visits if applicable
  • Conduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviews
  • Develop cost estimates
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects (or equivalent), preferably including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports
  • Certifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PE, CM, EVP, PMI-SP, CST
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules
